1. Explain what ‘a class divided society’ means. Compare class division in A Christmas Carol and Animal Farm.

-          Normally it starts with an economic difference, which has some important consequences.

Normally it is categorized in 3 stages. : Over class, middleclass and underclass.

It doesn’t have to include money, but acts and power of the word.

The intellect has a really important; Animal farm where the pigs are clever and control it.

: mr. Scrouge, lower status man(Bob) – book keeper (working class)

2. ”All animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others.” With reference to humans rather than animals, how true is this of society today?

Some have more options – lucky, rich = education in USA

Basic level: same rights

Born into social stages:

Democracy is important and also well-known worldwide. 

Dictator-ship (animal farm) can be compared to our government, except that our government trying to get the best to every citizen.

Maybe all people have the same fundaments, but not the same changes (social)

Some people are more important than other, because of their skills and working position.

3. Is it possible for a society ever to be completely democratic? Justify your answer with reference to past and present social groups that you are familiar with.

-          A pure democracy would let it to complex

-          A leader

-          It does not work in military

-          The represents in the government are open and everyone has the change to be a representing a specific group. But it is always the majority who has the last word, and no decision can be taken without  that some may be let down.
