1) 30 mins preparation:
The class has been divided into two groups: boys and girls. Boys have read about 'Brigdet Jones's Diary' and girls have watched 'About a boy'. The boys have to find out what women are like according to 'Brigdet Jones's Diary', meanwhile the girls have to find out what men are like according to 'About a boy'.

2) Group work presentations:
We are divided into groups of 3( 2 boys and 1 girl) and we are going to present the characterisation which include a product, for instance powerpoint.

3) Class discussion:
Debate in the class with a starting-point in 'About a boy' and 'Brigdet Jones's Diary'.

Does the girls’ picture fit the description of a modern man?

Does the boys' powerpoint fit the description of a modern woman?

4) Grammar exercises:
Pronoun from the file 'Det danske MAN - oversætninger'.
