Clarence Edmonds Hemingway’s son Ernest Hemingway was born in the city of Oak park, Illinois on July 21^st 1899. During his life he made a great contribution to the world literature, since his first book “Three stories and ten poems” was published in 1923. Through his life he survived two world wars, and in World War 1 he was actually helping out as an ambulance driver, which was rewarded with a Bronze Star
