Hemmingway

Ernest Miller Hemingway was born on July 21, 1899, in Oak Park, Illinois - a suburb of Chicago. He was a writer. His father was the owner of a prosperous real estate business. His father, Dr. Hemingway, imparted to Ernest the importance of appearances, especially in public. He served as an ambulance driver during WW1. His first novel was called “The Torrents of Spring”. He published “The Snows of Kilimanjaro” in 1936. He received the Nobel Prize In literature in 1954, and the “Pulitzer Prize for Fiction” the year before. He had three children. He committed suicide in 1961.
